Lynn K. McLean, M.D.
Dr. McLean graduated from the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine in 1987. She
completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky
in 1991 and her fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Clinical Genetics at the
University of California, San Francisco in 1995.
Dr. McLean moved to the Sacramento area in 1995. She is one of the founding members of the
Sacramento Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical Group. She was the Medical Director of Maternal-Fetal
Medicine at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento from 1996 to 2006. Dr. McLean is currently the Medical
Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for Catholic Healthcare West, Sacramento region and an Associate
Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. McLean is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine
and Clinical Genetics. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology,
member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, as well as a member of the American
Society of Human Genetics. Dr. McLean has been accepted into the Pacific Coast Obstetrical
and Gynecological Society. Her areas of interest include prenatal screening/testing (including
first trimester screening and chorionic villus sampling) as well as fetal ultrasound.
Herman L. Hedriana, M.D.
Dr. Hedriana graduated from the Far Eastern University NRMF Institute of Medicine
in 1983. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center
in 1992 and his fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of
California, San Diego in 1994.
Dr. Hedriana moved to the Sacramento area in 1994 to join the faculty of
the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. He was the Director of
Perinatal Research at the University of California, Davis from 1994 to 1998. He
is one of the founding members of the Sacramento Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical
Group. He was the Medical Director of Obstetric Inpatient Services at Sutter Medical
Center, Sacramento from 1998 to 2006. Dr. Hedriana is currently the Medical Director
of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. Dr. Hedriana is an Associate
Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Hedriana is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal
Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and
a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Hedriana is an active candidate
for membership into the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. His areas
of interest include prenatal diagnosis (including first trimester screening and
amniocentesis), fetal ultrasound and management of labor.
Jan M. Lanouette, M.D.
Dr. Lanouette graduated from Case Western University School of Medicine in 1990. She
completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University in
Detroit, Michigan in 1994 and her fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Wayne
State University in 1996.
Dr. Lanouette moved to the Sacramento area in 1998. She is one of the founding members of
the Sacramento Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical Group. She was the Medical Director of the
California Diabetes in Pregnancy Program, Northern California Region from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Lanouette
is currently the Medical Director of the Mercy Sweet Success Diabetes in Pregnancy Program, Sacramento
region. Dr. Lanouette is an Associate Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the
University of California, Davis.
Dr. Lanouette is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She
is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Society of
Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Lanouette is an active member of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and
Gynecological Society. Her main areas of interest include prenatal screening/testing (including
first trimester screening), fetal ultrasound, as well as the management of diabetes and other medical
conditions during pregnancy.
Hanns Haesslein, M.D. MPH
Dr. Haesslein graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1970. He completed his
residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University in 1974 and his fellowship
training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of California, Davis in 1978. He received a
Masters in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994.
Dr. Haesslein has provided care to women in the Sacramento area since 1978. He joined Sacramento
Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical Group in 2002. Dr. Haesslein is currently the Medical Director of
Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Mercy General Hospital.
Dr. Haesslein is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a fellow of the American College
of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the San Francisco Gynecologic Society and a member of the
Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. His primary areas of interest include medical
quality assurance, pre-eclampsia, medical complications of pregnancy, fetal anomalies and ultrasound.
